       Besides the local fishery for food and selling in the community, the villagers also collect Tip oysters, which are usually found on the rocky beach, especially in front of the Giant Cliff at Tai Mueang beach. The villagers use a steel spike bar to pry the oysters from the rock or tree roots, then use a knife to cut the tendon or the navel that holds the lid on both sides, and finally they will get the shellfish. Some people prefer eating it raw, some prefer cook them stir-frying, deep frying. It is a must-try local dish of Ban Tha Din Daeng community.

       Tib oyster or small-size oysters is the bivalves, in the family of Ostreidae. They are usually found clinging on rocks, cement pillars, mangrove roots, or all kinds of objects that are at the level of beach flooding. The most common beaches that can find Tib oyster are mud-sandy beach. They have no teeth, no feet, no fibers, white mussels, black gastrointestinal tract, soft and sweet meat. They eat living things such as plankton and particles of organic matter that are decomposed from the decayed plants and animals, floating in the water.
