พลูลงยา / Mountain Long Pepper

เป็นไม้ประดับ พบมากในป่าแถบภาคใต้ เป็นไม้เลื้อยเถาวัลย์ ขนาดเล็ก อายุหลายปี อยู่ในสกุลพริกไทย กระจายพันธุ์ทั่วไปทางตอนใต้ของจีน บังคลาเทศ อินเดีย พม่า เจริญเติบโตได้ดีในที่ร่มรำไรที่มีความชุ่มน้ำในป่า ลักษณะลำต้นเป็นสีน้ำตาล เป็นเถาขนาดเล็กเลื้อยเกาะพันต้นไม้อื่นที่อยู่บริเวณใกล้เคียง ใบเป็นรูปหัวใจ ลายสีเงินและสีเขียวคล้ำ ปนลายสีชมพู สวยงามโดดเด่น แผ่นใบบางขอบใบเรียบ Mountain Long Pepper is an ornamental plant commonly found in the forests of Southern Thailand, Southern China, Bangladesh, India and Myanmar. The genus pepper plant is small in size and is a creeper vine known to live for multiple years. The mountain long pepper grows well in the shaded areas within humid forests. The plant’s stem is brown and is often found clinging to other trees. The plant’s thin and smooth leaves are heart-shaped with silver, dark green and pink patterns.
