เป็นว่านชนิดหนึ่งหัวอยู่ใต้ดิน ลำต้นโผล่เหนือดิน มีลักษณะเป็น กอกลม ใบเป็นรูปหัวใจ ปลายใบแหลม โคนเว้า พื้นใบและก้านมีสีเขียว ช่วงใบถี่ ขอบใบเรียบไม่มีหยัก ใบออกตรงส่วนยอดของลำต้น ออกดอกเป็นกลุ่มระหว่างกาบของก้านใบ นิยมนำไปปลูกเป็นไม้ประดับด้วยความเชื่อที่ว่า ว่านนี้เป็นว่านเสน่ห์เมตตามหานิยม อำนวยโชคลาภ มักปลูกไว้ตามร้านค้าและบ้านเรือน เพื่อความเป็นที่นิยมของลูกค้าและแขกบ้านไปมาหาสู่อย่างเป็นมิตร Silver shield is a type of succulent plant with underground tuber.
