คลุ้ม เป็นไม้เนื้ออ่อนเจริญเติบโตขึ้นเป็นพุ่มหรือเป็นกอ ลำต้นมีทั้งแบบตั้งตรงและเป็นแบบเลื้อย มีลักษณะเป็นผิวเรียบ มีความเหนียว ดัดง่ายรูปทรงสวยงาม คนสมัยก่อนมักนำมาใช้จักสานเป็นเครื่องใช้ในครัวเรือน หรือทำเชือกมัดสิ่งของ ปัจจุบันได้มีการต่อยอดภูมิปัญญาท้องถิ่นเป็นผลิตภัณฑ์จักสานจากต้นคลุ้มที่มีความสวยงามและมีความหลากหลายมากขึ้น Klum is a softwood that grows in bushes or shrubs that can grow in both upright and creeping manner. Klum stems have a smooth surface, good toughness while being bendy and easy to shape. In the past, people commonly used klum stem for wickerwork, rope, and crafting household appliances. Nowadays, the locals further refined and developed klum into a much more diverse wicker products.
