ว่านพญาจงอาง / Keladi Rimau, Keladi Ular, Birah Kijang, Birah Hitam

จงอาง/จงอางก้านดำ หรือทั่วไปมักเรียกว่า ว่านพญาจงอาง เป็นไม้ล้มลุกขนาดเล็ก ลำต้นเหนือดิน ตั้งทรงเองได้ เปลือกมีสีเขียว ใบและก้านคล้ายบอน ก้านจะมีจุดสีคล้ายเกล็ดอยู่กระจายอยู่ทั่วทั้งก้าน เชื่อว่าการปลูกว่านพญาจงอางสามารถป้องกันสัตว์มีพิษ งู หรือสั่งชั่วร้ายเข้าบ้าน หัวมีสรรพคุณในการถอนพิษ Keladi Rimau (Wan Phaya Chong Ang; King cobra shrub) is a small herbaceous plant with an above-ground stem. The plant’s bark is green in color and the leaves and stems resemble caladium. The stem has scale-like colored spots scattered throughout the stem. It is believed that planting Keladi Rimau can prevent poisonous animals, snakes, or order evil from entering the house. The roots are used as a folk remedy to neutralize toxins.
